We frequently undertake correspondent work for other lawyers in relation to Bail Appeals and Appeal proceedings in Edinburgh.

We arrange visits at request upon convicted or remand prisoners who require appeal advice or need representation.
Harley & Co represented the accused in the Louise Tiffney disappearance in the Perth High Court Murder Trial in 2004 (Lead Counsel-Frances Mcmenamin).
Mr Harley also achieved an acquittal for
Trevor Adams, the Master of Foxhounds facing the first Scottish
Prosecution under the Protection of Wild Mammals (Scotland) Act
2002 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court in December 2004. (Case reported
in the Scottish Criminal Case Reports 2005 at Page 54).
More recently the redoubtable Kenny Richey finding
himself in hot water in this country after a spell in the US
also had Mr Harley's assistance (along with Ronnie Renucci
Advocate) when Mr Richey walked from Paisley High Court in
March 2009 with two charges of Assault and a charge of
Attempt to Pervert being dismissed, and the accused being
admonished for a Breach of Peace in Court.
